Upon arrival, we are greeted by our English-speaking Christian tour guide and assisted with customs and passport control. 

Board our bus and, time permitting, drive to Jaffa for a short visit.

Mass will be celebrated in Jaffa (depending on arrival time). 

We continue to the Sea of Galilee area where we have a well-deserved night of rest.

Our day will start with a visit to Cana, where couples may choose to renew their wedding vows at the Wedding Church. 

A short drive takes us to Nazareth, the town of Mary’s home,  where Jesus played as a child, learned a trade, and grew to manhood. We visit Mary’s Well and St. Joseph’s Church. Later this morning, we celebrate Mass at the Basilica of the  Annunciation (subject to confirmation). 

We stop at Mt. Precipice, from where we have a magnificent view of the Jezreel Valley. The angry multitudes wanted to throw Jesus from this mountain after His teaching at the Nazareth Synagogue. 

On our way to the Sea of  Galilee region, we will follow the Gospel Trail. First, we will stop at the Golani Junction to see the Roman Road that Jesus used to walk on. Arbel Cliffs and Valley of the Doves would be our next stop, following in Jesus' footsteps on His way from Nazareth to Capernaum. The route that he must have done numerous times throughout His life. 

Our last visit will be Magdala, home of St. Mary Magdalene (entrance included). 

Tonight, enjoy a special welcome dinner at Magdalena Restaurant (or similar, included) in Tiberias with a choice of wine, beer, or soda.

Depart for the Sea of Galilee to enjoy a morning boat ride  (included) and visit the “Jesus  Boat”  (entrance included) a boat from the time of Jesus. 

We celebrate Mass at the Mt. of  Beatitudes (subject to confirmation).

Taste St. Peter’s Fish for lunch at the Hermitage  (included) before departing for Capernaum (entrance included), where Jesus began His Galilean ministry. Here we explore the synagogue which dates to the time of Christ and see the site of St. Peter’s home. Visit the church with a glass floor constructed over the site, allowing us to look down into the excavated ruins of Peter’s house. 

Our next stop is at the Church of the Primacy of Peter, situated on the shore of the Sea of Galilee where, after His resurrection, Jesus met with His disciples and told Peter, “Feed my lambs; feed my sheep,” (John 21:9). 

Then we will visit the Church of Multiplication of Loaves and Fishes, commemorating where Jesus fed the crowd of 5,000.

This afternoon, time permitting, we travel north to Banias to visit Caesarea Philippi  (entrance included), where Peter confessed that Jesus is the Son of God; we visit the high place seeing the gates of Hades, Augustus Temple, and the High Place where the  Romans worshipped the god called Pan. 

Wine tasting at the St. Urban Wine Bar at the Scots Hotel. The wine tasting will have a cheese platter and focaccia and dips.

Following breakfast, we will visit Mt. Tabor to see The Church of  Transfiguration. Taxi up/down included). 

Continue to Haifa where we visit the monastery of Stella Maris atop Mount Carmel to celebrate Mass (subject to confirmation). We also see Our Lady of Mt. Carmel.

Then, it’s off to enjoy the sea, ruins, and salty air at Caesarea Maritima (entrance included), the ancient harbor from which St. Paul set off to spread the Good News! We enjoy lunch on our own at the port of Caesarea Maritima before departing for Bethlehem. 

Enjoy a Genesis welcome before arriving in Bethlehem and settling into our hotel. 

Tonight, dinner will be a local restaurant in Bethlehem with folklore show (included).

Following breakfast, we continue to the Mt. of Olives  to visit the Ascension Chapel  (entrance included) and the Church of Pater Noster (entrance included), where Jesus taught the Lord’s Prayer. 

Marvel at the panoramic view – appreciating the eternal golden city of Jerusalem. We walk along Palm Sunday Road,  stopping at Dominus Flevit, where Jesus wept over the city. 

Continue along with the Jewish  cemetery with a view over the Eastern Gate. 

Quiet time in the Garden of Gethsemane,  also known as the Garden of Betrayal, where, since the fourth century, tradition has placed the betrayal by Judas here. 

Walk over to the Basilica of Agony, also known as the Church of All Nations, where we celebrate Mass (subject to confirmation). 

Following lunch at Yerevan or Versavee Restaurant (included), we travel to the Israel Museum (entrance included), where we will visit the Second Temple Period Model of Jerusalem, a 1:50 scaled model of the city from the 1st century AD, followed by a visit to the  Shrine of the Book where the Dead Sea Scrolls are on exhibit, in addition to the archeological section where many artifacts are displayed, we will pay special attention to those items that relate to Bible history. 

In the afternoon visit Caiaphas Palace and the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu (entrance included).  Our final stops of the day are Dormition Abbey and the Upper Room. 

Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem. (B, L, D) 

We begin our day in Bethlehem with a visit to Manger Square and the Church of the Nativity located above the birthplace of Christ. Bending low as we enter through the Door of Humility, we enter the church and descend into the Grotto of Nativity. 

Beneath the altar, a 14-pointed silver star marks the exact spot surrounded by the Latin inscription: HIC DE VIRGINE MARIA JESUS CHRISTUS NATUS (Here Jesus Christ was born to the Virgin  Mary). 

We celebrate Mass (subject to confirmation) and visit St. Jerome’s Grotto and then the Milk Grotto. 

We visit the Shepherd’s Field and Grotto after a relaxing lunch in Bethlehem. 

Our last visit today will be to the Carmelite Monastery to venerate the relics of St. Mariam Baouardy  (St. Mariam of Jesus Crucified) – the Lily of Palestine, canonized by Pope Francis in  2015.

After a buffet breakfast and check out, we begin our day entering the Old City and a visit to the Western Wall, a section of the Western retaining wall of the Temple Mount, and Judaism’s holiest site. 

We will ascend the Temple Mount, discussing its connection to both the Old and New Testaments. 

We will then visit the Southern Wall excavations (included) where ruins of the retaining walls of the Temple Mount are still visible. We will then gather at the teaching steps, the main entrance to the Temple where Rabbis met and taught their disciples. 

In the afternoon drive to Ein Karem to visit the Church of the Visitation, see  Mary’s Spring, and the birthplace of John the Baptist. We celebrate Mass at Ein Karem (subject to confirmation). 

Please note that due to security reasons, the only items that visitors can carry into Temple Mount are telephone, small camera, notebooks, and a bottle of water. Groups are now allowed to enter with professional cameras, iPads, backpacks, purses, any religious symbols (i.e. Bibles, crosses), as well as Swiss penknives and clippers. Appropriate dress is required.

Our first visit after breakfast is Bethany to see the home of  Mary, Martha, and Lazarus and celebrate Mass  (entrance to Lazarus' tomb included; Mass is subject to confirmation). 

Stop for the Renewal of Baptismal Promises at Qasr Al Yahoud. This site holds the oldest and most ancient tradition for being the place of Jesus’ baptism by John the Baptist in the River Jordan (Mathew, 3: 13-17). 

Then depart for Jericho  (entrance included), the first city to be captured by Joshua as part of his conquest of the Land, and the site of the  Mount of Temptation. Lunch included. 

Later, drive to the Dead Sea and take a dip in the salty waters  (entrance included) and shop for Dead Sea products. 

Return to our hotel.

Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem. (B, L, D)  

Start the day early by praying the Stations of the Cross along the Way of the Cross (Via Dolorosa). 

We are blessed to be able to celebrate Mass this morning at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher (subject to confirmation), the site where Jesus was crucified and buried. 

We return to the hotel for breakfast and rest. 

Our day continues with visits to St. Anne’s Church and to see the Pools of Bethesda, where Jesus healed the Paralytic. 

On to the Antonia  Fortress, the Ecce Homo. 

Walking through the Jewish Quarter we will reach the Wailing Wall. Tuck a prayer into the Wailing Wall.

Lunch is on your own today.

Enjoy a farewell dinner at City View Restaurant (or similar restaurant, included).

Individual deposits are refundable except for a $500/person handling fee for cancellations made 90 days or more prior to departure. 

For cancellations 90 to 60 days prior to departure, you will be refunded everything except your initial deposit ($1000). 

If you cancel the trip within 60 days of departure, all payments are non-refundable. 

Unused portions of the trip are non-refundable.

Trip cancellation/protection plan is optional, but highly encouraged.
